Solidarity Sessions July 2025
Last year, we got in touch to ask what spaces our Network needed in response to the far-right violence which took place in the Summer. After listening to those responses and taking the time to plan, we have developed a series of online lunchtime Solidarity Sessions for our Network, led by our Network, which will take place in July.
International Solidarity: Tuesday 22 July 1-2pm BST
Collective Grief Tending: Wednesday 23 July 1-2pm BST
Joyful & Creative Abolition: Tuesday 29 July 1-2pm BST
Strategising - Community Safety: Wednesday 30 July 1-2pm BST
Our goal is to facilitate restorative, strategic and joyful spaces for Black campaigners, organisers and frontline workers to learn from each other and co-create strategies for collective liberation across geographical locations and movement spaces in response to the Far Right riots of Summer 2024, and the ongoing rise in violence and harm against racialised communities.
We hope this event series will be a nourishing space, bringing people together for peer-to-peer support and community care.
Please get in touch with info@kinfolknetwork.com to sign up. This event series is for and by Black people.
